Burgeon Beer Company at 6350 Yarrow Drive suite c, Carlsbad, California.

Burgeon is close to my work and they have some 17 beers on tap. This place is alright but compared to Miramar or even nearby spots like belching beaver and the new battlemage brewing they leave something to be desired. I enjoyed both of the stouts: Dutchman’s Pipe and Sticky Sauce which were intense. I also liked the Past Due, a porter. They only have one sour on tap but it’s pretty tasty. They usually have a food truck in the afternoon and it gets pretty crowded on weeknights when work lets out.
